Tuesday and Thursday evenings will be at Croftfoot Parish Church, Sunday
venue now confirmed as Croftfoot also! Cast should be available for call on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Sundays from April to September.!!

It may be a requirement that principal characters attend the dance audition. This will be confirmed at rehearsals prior to auditions.

I'm happy to pass on the following rehearsal announcements from Ian Purves:

REHEARSALS WEEK COMMENCING 4 AUG

Tuesday 5 August 7.30pm Full Company Rehearsal (Music, Chorus Work &
Choroegraphy)

Thursday 7 August 7.30pm Everyone with Act 1 dialogue required

Sunday 10 August 2pm Choreography rehearsal. Full Company be
prepared to attend as required.

A new rehearsal schedule listing all dates from now until production week
has been prepared and will be issued at rehearsals.

It is extremely important that everyone attends all
rehearsals when required from now on.

Confirmation that on Sunday 10 August the full chorus are called for a
rehearsal of "Night on the Town". Please be at Croftfoot and ready to
start by 2pm.

As Ian stated at rehearsal we should keep all Tuesdays, Thursdays and
Sundays free for rehearsal. We need 100% attendance as there is a lot of
work to be done.

Unfortunately, not attending a rehearsal may result in members missing out
on placement in new numbers. You have been warned!!

Congratulations to the Theatre Guild foursome who secured not one but
TWO trophies at the NODA Scotland Golf Championship yesterday!

Our award winning golfers were David Brown, Jim Munro, John Paterson and
Mark Ridyard. The boys not only snatched the Region 1 trophy from the
clutches of The Lyric Club but David Brown also won an individual trophy
for attaining the highest score in the 19-28 handicap category!

Congratulations to all 4 of our lads. With extra golfing talent joining
the Guild in recent months there is talk of a 'play-off' to secure a place
in the team for next year!! (That counts me out, then!!)

Watch our blog for a photo of the champions very soon! I expect that the
trophies will be on display at the rehearsal on Tuesday!

I see Fiddler on the Roof is on at the Theatre Royal from 19 August. That
looks like a good opportunity to hand out some flyers for Copacabana!?

Is there anyone up for the challenge? If you are struggling to sell
tickets to friends and family promoting the show like this could win you
some sympathy with the committee!

Volunteers should make themselves known to the committee at rehearsal!

As announced by the production team on Tuesday night. We have a FULL
CAST rehearsal called for Thursday 21st and Sunday 24th
August.
