| Louise Munro
Louise joined Theatre Guild in 1998 as the prompt for our sell out production of The King and I. This was as a direct result from much 'hen-pecking' from husband, Jim. She enjoyed the experience so much that she immediately joined our popular Concert Party and then the cast of our 1999 production of Half-A-Sixpence. Louise has been in the chorus of almost every show since then (with the exception of 2002 when she took some time out to produce her own little star, baby Rebecca!).
Louise lists her first ever performance as a sailor in a primary school silver jubilee concert, bless!
We asked Louise to tell us a funny theatre story: "At the dramatic final conclusion to Oklahoma! in 2004 (while Jud Fry was being carried off to be pronounced dead by the Doc), Shona McAulay approached our group to say there was a locum doctor ... Dr Who! Karen Brown and I promptly 'lost it' and had to pretend that we were so distraught that we were sobbing on each other's shoulders!"
(Louise's Secret: She once embarrassed a well known Scottish actress by discussing her mother's bowels in the middle of a busy ward in a very loud voice!)
